Running back Saquon Barkley appears to be aware that he may only have two games left in his New York Giants career, which began when he was selected second overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
“I feel like everybody is in a different position,” Barkley said to reporters on Thursday, according to Dan Benton of Giants Wire/USA Today. “Some people are aware that this is their final year here. You never know whether you’ll sign back or not. Some of the individuals listed have multi-year contracts. Knowing that the future is somewhat unpredictable, it certainly crosses your thoughts, but I just try to enjoy every moment and go out there and compete with others.

This Sunday, the Giants will face the 8-7 Los Angeles Rams. ESPN Bet had the Rams as 5.5-point favorites for that game as of late Friday morning.New York will then finish the season at home against the Philadelphia Eagles on Jan. 7.
