Collingwood defender John Noble dropped the latest shock trade request this week, with the Pies flanker said to be seeking a move north to the Suns.
Despite being contracted, Noble will pursue a move to the Gold Coast to be closer to family.
The Magpies have respected Noble’s request despite being blindsided and will look to agree to a deal to part with their long-serving Mid-Season Draft addition.

Christian Petracca reportedly echoed his desire to join a rival Victorian club in his exit interview this week.
Petracca has stunningly been linked to a move away from Melbourne after a difficult period for the Norm Smith Medal winner, who is contracted to the club until the end of 2029.
Carlton has emerged as a potential landing spot given their pair of star key forwards, however Harry McKay’s manager has put a line through any move.

Richmond confirmed trio want out
This week, the Tigers confirmed that Liam Baker, Shai Bolton, and Daniel Rioli have requested trades away from the club.
Baker, who is uncontracted, is seeking a move to WA, with a preferred landing spot not yet known.
Despite being under contract for the coming years, Rioli and Bolton are seeking moves to Gold Coast and WA respectively.
Eagles star officially request Hawks switch
West Coast has confirmed that defender Tom Barrass has requested a trade to join Hawthorn.
Barras, while contracted until the end of 2027 with the Eagles, has been linked to a potential move to Victorian, with the Hawks and Bulldogs both keen on his services.
The Eagles confirmed Barrass is seeking a move to Waverley, with the club to help plan a trade with the Hawks this off-season.
Rivals circling Essendon defender
St Kilda and Carlton are said to have shown some interest in contracted Essendon defender Jayden Laverde.
Laverde and forward Jake Stringer reportedly pursued contract extensions this week but were told to look elsewhere if they wanted long-term deals, per The Age.
Clubs have been linked to both players, with the Saints and Blues among those potentially keen on Laverde.
