When news broke out that Sha’Carri Richardson had reportedly signed a $20.0M ambassadorial deal with Nike, many doubted the authenticity, which may now be true following the latest collaboration by the giant shoe brand.

In an Instagram post by Jacquemus, the French fashion brand announced its collaboration with Nike as they’re set to release a dinky Swoosh bag led by the world’s fastest woman for the campaign.

The dinky leather Swoosh bag is a chic joint wardrobe that takes its silhouette from the shape of Nike’s 54-year-old iconography, highlighted with Jacquemus’ signature hardware logo and a wide adjustable shoulder strap.

The Swoosh bag will arrive in three colourways: dark brown, dark pink, and ivory. Perfect for those who plan to secure one in each colour, and will be available to purchase from Monday, February 26, retailing for around $525.

With the announcement, fans immediately spotted that the model was Richardson, identifying the picture of the inch-long nails and the arm tattoo.

It also coincides with the Nike ambassadorial deal the world 100m champion allegedly signed and will see her do many campaigns, such as pioneering a new era of inclusive sportswear through the co-creation of a signature line designed specifically for women of all shapes and sizes.

The new collaboration between Jacquemus and Nike as Richardson leads the campaign, may finally be an affirmation to the multi-million dollar reports, making the world’s fastest woman the highest-paid female track and field athlete in history.

Also, this will now be the first of many more collaborations and partnerships for Richardson, as Nike aims to maximize her fame and influence by contributing to the creation of groundbreaking athletic equipment that enhances performance and revolutionizes the sport of sprinting.

Furthermore, It continues to prove that Richardson will continually break barriers and inspire a new generation of athletes.

Is Sha'Carri Richardson's $20,000,000 deal confirmed following Jacquemus and Nike's new collaboration?
