Dougal Howard will return to the line-up for the first time this season – and to face his former side – as one of two changes to take on Port Adelaide.
The previously injured Howard (hamstring) will be accompanied by the returning Angus Hastie in Friday’s Anzac Appeal Round clash at Adelaide Oval, who comes back into the side to flank fellow first-years Darcy Wilson and Hugo Garcia.
Dan Butler (injured) and Zak Jones (omitted) make way for the incoming pair, with Lance Collard, Jack Hayes and Tom Campbell named as emergencies.
Meanwhile, Max King will miss tomorrow’s game as he continues to manage a knee injury, with the key forward to have another week’s rest to clear him of lingering soreness.
Howard won’t be the only returning ex-Port Adelaide player to take the field on Friday night, with Riley Bonner to bring up his 100th career game against his former side after joining the Saints via last year’s pre-season draft.
The Saints and Power will meet tomorrow night at Adelaide Oval, commencing at 7:10pm ACST (7:40pm AEST).
