SAD NEWS for Indianapolis Colts key player has just confirm due to

According to ESPN Colts writer Stephen Holder, No. 1 Indianapolis Colts wide receiver . has completed the NFL’s concussion protocol and is labeled as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Michael Pittman Jr. is now listed on the Colts’ injury report as “questionable.” However, it has nothing to do with the concussion. Due to a shoulder issue, he was limited in today’s practice.

Do I believe he’ll play? Probably. But, in the interest of clarity, I wanted to be specific.

Pittman Jr. left Indianapolis’ Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after four receptions for 78 yards and did not return due to a concussion. Friday’s practice provided a better glimpse into Pittman Jr’s situation. The veteran receiver did practice in a non-red jersey for the second day in a row, but he was ultimately limited with a shoulder ailment and categorized as questionable.

Pittman Jr. potentially returning to the starting lineup would be huge for the Colts’ offense, which faces one of the NFL’s finest pass defenses in the Falcons. Pittman Jr. is on pace to set career highs in receiving yards and touchdowns this season, and he’s also been a consistent go-to target for Colts veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Pittman Jr. has 99 receptions for 1,062 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games, averaging 10.7 yards per reception. With Indy’s top receiving target perhaps available for Sunday’s game, he may add to those totals and help the Colts earn their ninth victory of the season.
