AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Casey Cain, a transfer receiver for the Texas Longhorns, has found a new home through the portal. Cain revealed his transfer to UNLV on social media Thursday, joining former Texas receivers coach Brennan Marion, who is now the Rebels’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Cain will continue to train with the Longhorns in preparation for the College Football Playoff. Cain was expected to be a solid complementary receiver in Steve Sarkisian’s offense entering the season, but he dropped far behind on the depth chart. Cain, on the other hand, had only one reception for 13 yards this season after appearing in 13 games and starting three in 2022.
