Building blocks for a ” superstar” signing at West Ham

West Ham United and Crystal Palace could compete for the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike in January.

Hammers manager David Moyes needs to sign a top-tier striker to push his present squad to the next level.

According to Le Parisien, Ekitike could be the man for the job at the London Stadium, but we will have to compete with Crystal Palace for his signature.

With his scorching pace, the very skilled 21-year-old forward would offer a whole new dimension to our attacking style.

And we should really go all out to sign him…

According to Le Parisien, PSG are eager to sell the 21-year-old striker this winter and are willing to allow him leave the French capital on loan.

I’d love to see Ekitike play in the London Stadium; his lightning-fast pace would make us even more dangerous than we currently are.

Oscar Garcia, a former Reims manager, once characterized the quick-footed forward as “special,” and he’s not wrong (Chronicle).

Hugo Ekitike lining up in the middle of Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, with Lucas Paqueta immediately behind him, should be immensely exciting for West Ham supporters.

The young Frenchman’s move from Reims to PSG was certainly the wrong one at the wrong time. The expectation to perform at Parc des Princes is great, and with the presence of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi at the time, he was never going to get a fair shake.

As far as I’m concerned, West Ham getting Hugo Ekitike on loan in the January transfer window would be a terrific deal for all parties involved.

It remains to be seen whether we can beat Crystal Palace to his signature.
