Texas Longhorns – sign superstar for tow- year, $14.25millon deal

The Texas Longhorns fell in an instant classic in the College Football Playoff against the Washington Huskies Monday night. While their final drive ended up short, the Texas Longhorns appear to be back. About to navigate new SEC waters one player in particular will be missed as he will be someone to watch for on Sundays.

As a transfer student-athlete, Adonai Mitchell came from the Georgia Bulldogs during this past offseason. His experience and past games spent playing on the big stage benefitted the Longhorns all season long and did again in what will likely be his last year in Aus

Although at this moment he has yet to make a decision one way or another, last night he wanted to soak in the moment.All the things I wanted to do when I came here, I did. I met a lot of great people. I’ve got a lot of great relationships. You know, I’m Texas forever in my blood. I’m just glad I was able to come back home and play for my home.

Throughout the season, this team has been viewed as a top-ten team. With some quality wins, and convincing wins on their resume, Steve Sarkisian will be hoping to continue to build off of this year.

With the likely departure of both Mitchell and Xavier Worthy, this Texas Longhorns offense could potentially look completely different next year. Speaking with reporters after the game, he expressed optimism in the young talent that is coming up.This program is on the rise man. When you get here do what we couldn’t and that’s finish it all the way, get a ring, and put that number up on the stadium.

Of course, the players are disappointed that they weren’t able to get the win. But this is a program that is continuing to get better and is starting to match the historic and perceived reputation of being a national contender.

Two things are true. In their first upcoming year in the SEC, Mitchell would be a welcomed roster addition back in 2024. Also, if he elects to go pro, Texas faithful will always be appreciative of the season that he was able to produce as a Longhorn.
