The Pittsburgh Steelers have found a way to secure a 10-win season, despite playing three quarterbacks and fielding one of the most lagging offenses in the league. Pittsburgh is riding a three-game win streak behind Mason Rudolph and company. While Rudolph has opened up the offense for the Steelers, it’s Pittsburgh’s run game that’s absolutely exploded. Starting running back Najee Harris spoke with the media after his 100-yard performance on Saturday, explaining it’s time to get back to the film room and get better.

“I’m gonna watch film. I gotta watch film on this game, see things I need to get better at,” said Harris, per Brian Batko at PG Sports Now.

Harris started the season on a rocky start, sharing carries with Jaylen Warren in the backfield. With his focus and constant will to win, he’s earned himself back-to-back 100-yard games as the Steelers’ workhorse back. He’s meshed well with the improvement of the offensive line and is really learning to trust those around him to get positive plays and go forward with the ball.

With the Week 18 victory against the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers are now a Miami Dolphins win or a Tennesse Titans win away from punching their ticket to the postseason. The Steelers went back to classic blue-collar Pittsburgh football, controlling the game through the ground. If they were to make the playoffs, Harris would be a vital piece in securing the Steelers’ first postseason victory since 2017. The mentality in Pittsburgh seemed to have changed with the players and coaching staff, with all parties carrying to the one goal of competing in January.
