Although the Lakers failed to win the crucial matchup against the Jazz, the performance of D’Angelo Russell was undoubtedly a silver lining for the team.

In fact, during the postgame conference, Lakers star Austin Reaves heaped huge praise on his veteran teammate via Spectrum SportsNet on Twitter.

“It’s an honor to share the court with him,” Reaves said.

On the other hand, the Utah Jazz climbed to the ninth seed in the West as they now have a 21-20 record this season.

As for the Lakers, they are in desperate need of a comeback this season if the franchise wants to have any shot at reaching the 2024 playoffs
