Shocking and unexpected news for Michigan Wolverines head coach

A new era of Michigan football has started with Sherrone Moore being promoted and recently named the new head coach of the program following Jim Harbaugh’s departure to the Los Angeles Chargers. 

Moore and his staff have hit the recruiting trail and on Monday, a trio of coaches stopped by the school of one of their top targets this cycle.

The Michigan Insider has confirmed that head coach Sherrone Moore, defensive line coach Mike Elston and wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy all swung by Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick to check on 2025 five-star defensive lineman Nathaniel Marshall earlier today.

One of the changes recently made was tight ends coach Grant Newsome being promoted to offensive line coach and he hasn’t wasted anytime hitting the recruiting tail and stopped by  New Rochelle (NY) Iona Prep to check on 2025 four-star offensive tackle Rowan Byrne.
