This season, Joel Embiid is performing like a man on a mission. He was a strong contender to win his second MVP award.

But the worst came when he injured his meniscus, and there is little chance that he will recover.

The Golden State Warriors was the opponent for the 2023 MVP injury, which he sustained while playing 30 minutes and scoring just 14 points.

The two games prior to it, which included a matchup with Denver Nuggets two-time MVP Nikola Jokic, he missed.

He was accused of sidestepping Jokic because of it. His side argued that they didn’t want to make his injuries worse.

It is safe to say that he is not dodging anyone at this point. It’s thought that the Warriors game was the one that worsened his situation.
