JUST IN: Le’Veon Bell plans to attempt an NFL comeback…..

unwinding In 2021, Le’Veon Bell’s NFL career came to an end. He intends to come back in 2024.

Before you ask: No, Le'Veon Bell isn't coming back to the Steelers - Yahoo Sports

Bell declared his desire to play in the NFL again in a recent Snapchat video. He also intends to play for just one squad.

Bell told SI.com, “I won’t start training until like March.” And I have to be honest with myself—I have to step out there and declare that I’m going to make a move. Can I sense it? Do I injure myself? Is it possible for me to return to playing outside? And, dude, I’m telling you all right now when I train in March and whether or not I decide to return to the game in April.

He’s most likely talking about the Steelers, actually. That was the team that selected him from Michigan State in the second round of the 2013 draft. In his second season, Bell recorded over 2,200 yards from scrimmage. That year, he was awarded an All-Pro.

Playing with the franchise tag in 2017, he was an All-Pro for the second time. He missed the full season the next year, paving the stage for his unrestricted free agency in 2019. The Jets then offered him a $42.5 million, four-year contract.

The 2020 season saw Bell cut by the Jets following a dismal rookie campaign. He split 2021 between the Ravens and Buccaneers. He concluded the 2021 season with the Chiefs. He did not participate in 2022 or 2023 NFL play.

Over the last two years, Bell has engaged in multiple boxing matches. In September 2022, Bell defeated future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson via TKO in the fifth round.

The chances are still not in Bell’s favor. He becomes 32 today.
