This week, Alabama and Auburn will square off in their second annual encounter as the Iron Bowl of Basketball is once again resurrected, only two weeks after these two schools’ last meeting.

With an 8-1 record, Alabama leads the conference by themselves at the moment, although Auburn is only one game behind at 7-2. Auburn could tie the score with a win of their own, but a Crimson Tide victory would give them an even greater grip on the top spot.

This will be just the second time Alabama and Auburn meet as ranked teams while Nate Oats and Bruce Pearl have been at their respective institutions, despite the intensity of their rivalry over the past four years. The first occurred in January 2022 at Coleman Coliseum, when No. 4 Auburn defeated No. 24 Alabama.
