This season, Vic Fangio infuses the Philadelphia Eagles defense with a well-known approach.

With it, some players who had a difficult year in 2024 could be able to improve their grades.The Philadelphia Eagles’ defense struggled mightily towards the end of the 2023 season compared to any other in the NFL.

The defensive coaching staff was completely reorganized as a result of the team losing six of their final seven games due to weak play calls, shoddy tackling, and a pass rush that was ineffective.

Now, instead of having a Vic Fangio disciple to teach the scheme, the Eagles brought in Fangio himself to build this unit from the ground up. Luckily for the former Bears and 49ers defensive mastermind, there are still plenty of quality playmakers on the unit heading into 2024.

Not all of them played well last season, but five names could be on the path to a big year next year with the help of their new defensive leader.
