This Saturday, February 10, the No. 3 Huskers will play No. 2 Michigan in a top-five matchup in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Following their home victory over Penn State, NU seeks to continue their winning streak. The meeting will take place in the Cliff Keen Arena at 12 p.m. (CT), and subscribers to B1G+ will be able to watch it live.

Last Time Out: Nebraska defeated the Nittany Lions (406.800-403.200) last Saturday in a conference matchup with Penn State. The Huskers achieved remarkable results, including four event victories and 11 recorded career-best scores.In their victory, three of the four event champions—freshman Alex Nitache on vault (14.85), sophomore Toby Liang on floor (14.00), and captain Zac Tiderman on high bar (14.45)—recorded career-best scores. Additionally, Captain Sam Phillips won the championship in the all-around competition.

Based on a three-score average, the national rankings highlight Husker gymnasts Chris Hiser, who is ranked ninth on rings (13.725), Cole Partridge, who is ranked eighth on parallel bars (14.20), and Zac Tiderman, who is tied for third place on high bar (14.00).Prior to the competition, No. 3 NU leads the standings in the vault (72.00) and high bar (68.30). Nebraska is ranked fourth on the floor (67.95), sixth on the parallel bars (66.00) and pommel horse (66.70), and third overall (67.25) on the rings.

Examining the Rivals
After suffering their first loss of the season against No. 4 Illinois (410.350-413.800), the Michigan Wolverines are ranked No. 2 in the NCAA. The Wolverines’ strength is highlighted by gymnasts Fred Richard and Javier Alfonso, who are currently leading the NCAA in still rings with a three-score average of 14.767. Richard just won the Big Ten Specialist of the Week award for the second time in a row.
