PHILADELPHIA: Collaboration is the buzzword of the NFL front offices, and very ew seem to be looking for a single, all-powerful person where the decision-making process ends with no questions asked.

It is erroneous to assume that a consensus will always be established, hence in any management structure, there must be a last word. According to the hypothesis, having more competent brains involved in decision-making increases the likelihood of achieving a consensus nine times out of ten.

Regarding the Philadelphia Eagles, they appear to be attempting to thread a very small needle as evidenced by their move from Nick Sirianni’s playbook to “our offense,” which is a brilliant illustration of a collaborative approach.

At his press conference last month to wrap up the season, Sirianni declared, “It’s our scheme.” “That will be our plan for what we’re doing.”

Kellen Moore, a former play-caller for the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers, has joined the Eagles offense to lead the group and infuse new ideas into what Sirianni said had become a “stale offense.”

“At this point, I’m not sure how that will seem precisely. We’re bringing in this guy to accomplish the things he’s done in the past and to bring in fresh ideas, Sirianni added. However, it would be absurd to leave out some of the previous work we’ve done in this area. We’re not there yet, so I’m not sure if it will be 95 percent of this and 95 percent of that.
