Jones faced considerable backlash last month for his choice to keep Mike McCarthy as head coach.

McCarthy has four seasons of sideline experience with Dallas and won a Super Bowl with the Packers. Although he guided the team to three straight 12-win regular seasons, he has not been able to produce the same degree of success in the postseason.
