SAD NEWS: Rapper Plies says he is “very excited” about attending Columbia for USC vs. UConn.

One of the many spectators at Colonial Life Arena supporting the Gamecock women versus the University of Connecticut (UConn) is Grammy-nominated rapper Plies.
He requested in the statement that USC women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley and the Gamecock nation “Put Me On Your Calendar Feb. 11th, I’m Dere!!!!” I am so excited! I am so excited!

“I am coming to Columbia, South Carolina, to see coach Staley and the South Carolina women’s basketball team take care of UConn,” the rapper announced in a video that was also shared online.

In response to the post, the coach said, “PLEASE SHOW HIM REALITY! I’ll see you soon, Plies.

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, the Gamecocks and Huskies will play.
