The star of the Las Vegas Raiders had a conversation with FanSided on a variety of subjects, including the team’s 2024 plans.

The Las Vegas Raiders entered the previous season full of doubts as head coach Josh McDaniels worked to rebuild this team to the point where the AFC playoffs were a real possibility. Although McDaniels struggled in his debut season in Las Vegas, many believed the Raiders may make progress in the summer.

It was unknown, though, just how bad things would go for McDaniels while he was with the Raiders, as the organization fired him on Halloween night following a humiliating defeat to the Detroit Lions. The Raiders appointed Antonio Pierce as an interim head coach in his place, and it was immediately apparent that things would not be the same.

Maxx Crosby, a standout edge rusher, was not blind to Pierce’s fire, which he brought to the head coaching post after years of lackluster performance. Crosby and Pierce were an ideal combination because of Crosby’s well-known daily passion, and even if the Raiders made progress in the last stretch, there will be even more in 2024.

During Media Week at the Super Bowl on Thursday, Crosby had a conversation with Stacking the Box in which he covered a variety of subjects. But he started the conversation off by making a claim that ought to worry the NFL: he believes Pierce and the Raiders will surprise everyone in 2024.
