The first episode of the beloved American comedy-action series “The Dukes of Hazzard” aired 45 years ago, and viewers quickly developed a deep affection for the two brothers from the South and their legendary 1969 Dodge Charger, known as the General Lee. Many people still watch the show, even though it ended in 1985.

As brothers Bo and Luke Duke, it’s hard to imagine anyone else but John Schneider and Tom Wopat, and their innate chemistry was clear from the beginning.
