Report: Bears quarterback, huge fan of the Steelers

Pittsburgh — In search of a quarterback this offseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be getting more and more as free agency and the NFL Draft draw near. That player is Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears, a fan favorite of many within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization. According to Brad of Pro Football Focus, who recently joined the Know Ball Podcast, the Steelers’ front office includes multiple individuals who are supporters of the Bears quarterback. Adam of ESPN reported that head coach Mike Tomlin is a “big fan” of Fields. “I can also tell you, this is Super Bowl scuttlebutt, that there are some people in the front office that are also fans of Justin Fields,” added. “That’s what I’ve heard.”

That name is Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields, who many in the Steelers organization are reportedly fans of. Joining the Know Ball Podcast, Pro Football Focus’ Brad says the Steelers have several members in their front office who are fans of the Bears quarterback. This comes after ESPN’s Adam said head coach Mike Tomlin is a “big fan” of Fields. “I can also tell you, this is Super Bowl scuttlebutt, that there are some people in the front office that are also fans of Justin Fields,” said. “That’s what I’ve heard.” The Steelers are currently the odds-on favorites to land Fields this offseason, and the expectation they could make a move for him is growing rapidly. NFL insider Benjamin said earlier this week he expects Pittsburgh to be one of three teams to call Chicago and talk about a trade. Fields is expected to go for either a first or second-round pick in the upcoming draft. The Steelers hold the pick in the first round, which may be enough to land the quarterback. Fields is entering his fifth-year option, leaving whoever acquires him with one season to decide if they’ll ink him to a long-term
