During this year’s NBA trade deadline, the Golden State Warriors attempted to acquire LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

During All-Star weekend, Draymond Green told Charles Barkley that he had instructed the Warriors not to trade Jonathan  in response to the report.

Unsurprisingly, the Lakers had no interest in parting with LeBron.

After The King tweeted an enigmatic hourglass emoji, the Warriors contacted the Lakers regarding a potential trade for LeBron. LeBron was rumored to be unhappy in Los Angeles by some people in the NBA.

LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul of  Sports Group, was tasked by Lakers owner Jeanie Buss, according to ESPN, to discuss the star’s wish to be traded. This was communicated to Warriors owner Joe . Paul informed  that his client had no desire to be traded.

If LeBron decides not to exercise his $98.8 million player option with the Lakers in 2024–25, he will be free to sign with any team this summer. The Warriors will go after LBJ once more if he becomes a free agent, an insider told Hoops Wire.
