Update news : Top Name at UA All-American Camp: Tyler Atkinson….

Tyler Atkinson, a five-star linebacker from Loganville, Georgia, is a 2026 recruit who is highly regarded by the Tennessee Volunteers.

He did well at the Under Armour All-American Camp in Atlanta.

Grayson High School linebacker Tyler Atkinson is already generating national attention as a rising junior.

The two-time MaxPreps All-American ranks as the No. 11 prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, and is high on the Tennessee Volunteers early in his recruitment.

The Knoxville, Tennessee, native made it to campus on November 18 for the Georgia game and has built a strong relationship with defensive line coach Rodney Garner.

Many other premium programs are giving chase, which will be a crowded recruitment.

Atkinson stopped in Atlanta, Georgia, for the Under Armour All-American Camp, which was littered with national recruits. He checked in as the No. 8 performer at the entire event, according to On3.

“On Sunday at Under Armour Atlanta, Tyler Atkinson performed double duty, starting the day as an EDGE and then moving on to linebacker.”

In both sessions, the 205-pound, 6-foot-3 player stood out for his burst and effort level. Atkinson plays with a tangible energy, giving every rep his all.

He performed best in the running back-linebacker 1-on-1s outside of drills. On multiple occasions, we witnessed Atkinson stick with running backs down the boundary.

Atkinson, a former defensive end who switched to linebacker last fall, impressed with his ability to play in space on Sunday and is obviously reliable in coverage.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction lists Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU as some of the early contenders.
