As his career comes to an end, LeBron James says he hopes to be a Laker and is “50-50” about doing a farewell tour.

LeBron James, the great player for the Los Angeles Lakers, stated to reporters prior to the historic night in Indianapolis that he intended to end his career as a Laker. James recently set a new NBA record by making his 20th All-great appearance.

The four-time NBA champion continued by saying that, while he hasn’t “mapped out,” he has acknowledged that “it’s not that many” and that he is still considering the possibility of doing a farewell tour in his last year.

“I’m not sure if I will – I was asked this a few days ago – will you sort of just Tim Duncan it, or will you kind of take the farewell tour?” James mentioned the quiet legend of the San Antonio Spurs.

I’ll be honest: I’m 50/50. There are moments when I feel like I think I owe it to my fans, who have followed me for over 20 years, to be able to give them that special moment where every city, or whatever the situation may be, gives you flowers, or whatever it is. That seems really cool.

On the other hand, I’ve never been very good at taking compliments. I have a strange feeling about it. I never really discussed it much, but I simply get a strange vibe about it. I’m not sure if that means you have to go to every city, though.
