This is the final weekend to cast an early ballot in the presidential primary.

In Washtenaw County as well as the state of Michigan, early voting is well under way.
Residents of Michigan have one more weekend to cast an early ballot in the presidential primary on February 27. Increasing staffing has resulted from increasing voting options.

Director of Elections for Washtenaw County Ed  expresses gratitude for the commitment poll workers have demonstrated during the new process.

“It is truly amazing that so many of the poll workers at early voting locations have opted to work several days, if not all nine days, of early voting.”

reports that while early voting has become more popular over the course of the week, he has not observed any long lineups at polling places. The Washtenaw County Central voting site and the Ann Arbor locations have garnered the most attention.
