Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill won't face discipline from NFL for marina incident - Yahoo Sports

Tyreek Hill, a standout for the Miami Dolphins, has responded to supporters of the team.

Former Dolphins general manager Mike Tannenbaum proposed earlier this week that the Dolphins trade wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to Kansas City in exchange for cornerback Trent McDuffie.

There are voids at cornerback for the Dolphins, and it appears that Dolphins supporters approved of Tannenbaum’s suggestion.

But Hill didn’t. “My boy Waddle is the future; he is better than I was at this point in his career,” the quick-witted celebrity posted on social media. “It is absurd that people in this fan base would want to trade him.”

“He and Tua were special before me and will be special after I leave.”

“It is absurd for people in this fan base to want to trade my boy Waddle; he is the future and better than me at this point in his career.

Waddle was drafted by the Dolphins in 2021. The Alabama graduate has broken the 1000-yard receiving mark each season since moving to Miami. He has 19 touchdowns to his name as well.

Waddle’s contract is up for renewal. However, the Dolphins may need to rearrange contracts in order to stay in compliance with the pay cap, as Tua Tagoavailoa is expected to sign an extension.

In light of that circumstance, several insiders have suggested that the Dolphins consider trading Hill. Hill is currently 29 years old and has a hefty agreement.

Adam Beasley of the Pro Football Network said, “The thing you can’t say but everyone knows it is true about the Dolphins’ wide receivers is that trading Tyreek makes the more long-term sense, but that would totally detonate the 2024 season.”

Hill and Waddle will return to Miami in 2024. They are both under contract for next season. And Hill wishes to team with Waddle as the Dolphins try to make a Super Bowl push.
