Manchester City are reportedly ready to ask for huge money for star midfield player Kevin De Bruyne this summer amid fresh interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Following some previous connections, De Bruyne is once again being named as one of the top targets for Saudi Pro League clubs ahead of the summer.

TalkSPORT reports that Man City appears unconcerned about the Belgian’s circumstances and that they would yet plaster a hefty £100 million price tag on his head to ward off potential bidders.

Despite being 32 years old, De Bruyne still seems to have a lot to offer this City team, so it makes sense that the team isn’t in the slightest interested in selling the former Wolfsburg player.

If it turns out that De Bruyne is eager to take the enormous financial offer from Saudi Arabia and go down a level at this point in his career, City may have a difficult time convincing him.

If they could pull it off—and it’s obvious that it won’t come cheap—this would be another statement signing, as we’ve seen some major names enticed to Saudi in recent years.

Once again, Fabrizio Romano has talked about De Bruyne’s circumstances and reminded us that the player rejected a Saudi offer shortly before the Champions League final of the previous season.

It still feels a little early to say for sure about this summer.
