Eddie Jordan deems the inquiry concerning Christian Horner, the principal of Red Bull team, to be “absurd”.

An independent investigation into Horner’s actions was prompted earlier this month after a female colleague

accused him of acting inappropriately. The Englishman intends to continue leading Red Bull and rejects the accusations.

However, Jordan, who established the now-defunct Formula 1 team Jordan Grand Prix, believes Horner should not proceed with the Austrian constructors

because of the seriousness of the accusations, and he suggested that looking into the matter would only delay the inevitable.

“I’ve witnessed a lot of poor choices. However, the Red Bull scenario is the most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed,” the Irishman said to F1

Insider. “Horner has the presumption of innocence, of course, but is anyone really of the opinion that the employee made these baseless accusations?

“Is Horner guilty if she is innocent? Red Bull’s reputation is already severely damaged. It’s urgent that someone pull the string.”

Red Bull concluded its investigation into Horner, 50, on Monday, and they plan to make the announcement prior to this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix, which

kicks off the racing season. A specialist barrister conducted the proceedings, which included an interview with Horner on February 9.

As Red Bull’s team principal since the company’s 2005 entry into the sport,

Horner has led the team to six constructors’ titles and seven drivers’ titles, making him the longest-serving team principal in Formula One.

On February 15, Horner informed the media that the team was conducting “business as normal” at the launch of Red Bull’s 2024 car. He stated: “Of course, the

allegations is a process that Red Bull are running through and have confirmed that process externally, but obviously there’s a job to do and I deny fully the accusations that have been made, and my role obviously continues.”

In contrast, Jordan established Jordan Grand Prix in 1991, and the team participated in Formula One racing until 2005, when it was acquired by Midland Group. Jordan was known for giving

drivers their debuts, including Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill, Martin , and Rubens . These competitors went on to win world titles.
