Journalist reveals factor that could help Leeds United to sign Nottingham Forest player | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest and Manchester United square off in tonight’s FA Cup fifth-round match.

The Reds enter the match fresh off a 2-1 loss to Fulham last weekend thanks to a late goal from Alex Iwobi, a former Arsenal player. The outcome delivered United a severe setback in their quest for a top four finish, but Erik ten Hag believes the team will bounce back tonight and secure a trip to the competition’s quarterfinals.

Since the FA Cup is United’s only chance to win silverware, it goes without saying that this is a momentous night for United.

The forest blocks our path.

Sofyan Amrabat, Scott McTominay, and Antony will be added to the squad to play against Forest this evening, but Kobbie Mainoo and Omari Forson will be benched.

Harry Maguire is not part of the team.

Habeeb Ogunneye, an 18-year-old right-back, is one of the replacements tonight for the first time. Should he get the chance to start, he will become our 250th academy graduate to play for the first team.

Starting behind a back four that consists of Amrabat, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Diogo Dalot is Andre Onana in between the posts. Prior to the match, our French center defender was seen as doubtful, but he passed the fitness test. Amrabat, a Moroccan international, is anticipated to start at left back.

Casemiro is joined in midfield by Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay. Similar to Varane, our skipper was declared doubtful for tonight’s match.

Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Antony make up United’s front three.

Onana, Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, Amrabat; Casemiro, McTominay, Fernandes; Antony, Rashford, Garnacho are Manchester United’s lineup against Forest.
