Emo It’s Jimmy Butler again.

For the “So Much (for) Stardust” music video by Fall Out Boy, the Miami Heat star went back to his alter identity.

Jimmy Butler vows to win the NBA title with the Miami Heat next season - "I will win a Championship"

Butler’s unexpected cameo in the band’s most recent song video was hinted to over the weekend by the band in an Instagram post that obscured the identity of two individuals donning gold boots and vibrantly embroidered pants.

Then, on Wednesday, Butler was identified as the guest star on Fall Out Boy’s social media pages in a few images with the comment “how it started vs. how it’s going.”

“Does the world want emo jimmy back?” Butler reached out to his over 10 million Instagram followers, who appeared to be largely in favor of his alter persona making a comeback.

At the team’s media day prior to the 2023–24 NBA season, Butler made his public debut with a variety of piercings and straight hair. He enhanced his look for the music video by dressing in a purple ensemble adorned with rhinestones and donning a cowboy hat.

It seems that Butler has other nicknames besides “Emo Jimmy”. Pete Wentz, main band member and member of Butler’s team, is featured in the video with Butler, hence the moniker “Heat Wentz,” which Fall Out Boy gave him.

Butler had previously declared his fondness for country music, but for the Fall Out Boy music video, he switched to pop-punk.

A social media influencer has accused Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill of purposefully breaking her leg at his house last year, prompting a new lawsuit against the player.

Influencer and model Sophie Hall, who has over 2.1 million Instagram followers, filed the complaint in Broward County last week.

Following what the lawsuit describes as a football lesson in which Hall had knocked Hill aside, he “became enraged, and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg, requiring surgery with orthopedic reconstruction and hardware implantation.”
