Sergio Perez is left out of Max Verstappen’s prediction in favor of Lewis Hamilton.

Max Verstappen has made his predictions for the top three drivers’ championship finishes this season, ignoring his teammate and last year’s runner-up, Sergio Perez.

In the most successful season ever for a Formula 1 team, Red Bull won 21 out of 22 Grand Prix and achieved a first-ever 1-2 in the standings last year.

Sergio Perez cannot be included in Max Verstappen’s top three for 2024.
Verstappen finished first with 575 points, and Perez gave Red Bull the 1-2 finish

with 285 points. With more than twice as many points as Mercedes, the team won the Constructors’ championship.

Verstappen, the current World Champion, is anticipating a different result this season, stating that he thinks Lewis Hamilton and Charles Lecher will finish in the top three.

“Lewis, me, and then Charles,” he remarked in a Via play Q&A preview for the upcoming season.

Perez, his teammate, was not mentioned. Verstappen gave that P1 to Landover Norris of McLaren, and the Mexican driver was left off of the list of drivers who will win a Grand Prix this season.

On the eve of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, which kicks off the season, he expressed his hope that he would. However, we won’t record that. I believe I’ll choose the person who hasn’t yet won. Lando!

Verstappen said he believes he will finish with 12 out of 22 points this season. Verstappen’s title defense got off to a perfect start in Bahrain when he won and earned the fastest lap point.

That represents a significant decrease from his 19 last year as he hedged his bets. “Twelve,” he stated. “I can always say I did a better job if it gets more.”

Regarding the conclusion of the Drivers’ Championship, which he completed in the sprint race in Qatar last season, leaving him with six Grands Prix left to complete, he states that it will take place in Las Vegas this year.

Consider the remaining three. Which one is that, I’m not sure,” he remarked.

Verstappen also predicted a podium finish for Red Bull’s junior team, RB, though he did not specify whether Yuki Tsunoda or Daniel Riccardo, his former teammate, would finish in the top three.

How are we going to call the team… Visa Cash App RB, they’ll get a podium,” he added.
