Bleacher Report] Josh Jacobs could hold out of training camp and into Week 1 amid contract negotiations, per Tom Pelissero : r/nfl

Josh Jacobs is coming off a terrible 2023 fantasy football season in which he missed four games and placed 28th overall among running backs in terms of total points. That’s a significant drop from his third-place showing the season before, when he was named the NFL running champion. At 26, Jacobs is still in the prime of his career, so if he decides to exercise his right to free agency in the offseason, there will be no shortage of suitors.

There have been rumors that Jacobs might stay with the Raiders in Las Vegas, which would be a very appealing situation and keep him in the mix for the top running back spot in fantasy football come football season. However, there are a few landing locations that make a lot of sense if the parties are unable to reach an agreement on new terms.

As Jacobs prepares to play his sixth NFL season, these are five of the teams (I’ve found as many as 10) where he would be best served in terms of both actual and fantasy football.

Ravens of Baltimore
With Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins set to enter free agency, the Ravens need to upgrade at running back, and Jacobs would be a huge improvement. Can you picture him and Lamar Jackson sharing a backfield? In drafts, that would make him a very alluring No. 1 fantasy running back. In the event that this scenario materialized, Jacobs would still be a top-30 overall pick the next season.
