IN RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSY — It doesn’t appear like Saquon Barkley’s deal with the Philadelphia Eagles is going over well in New York.

On his daily WFAN radio broadcast, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber voiced his disapproval of Barkley.

“Now that he’s dead to us. To us, he is dead. “You’re dead to us, Saquon,” laughed and grinned Barber, who had learned of the news during the “Evan and Tiki” program. “Best of luck to you. To me, you are dead.”

In response to the video on X, Barkley attacked Barber, claiming on ESPN that the remark was meant to be humorous. That wasn’t how the future running back for the Eagles saw it.

The rivalry between the recently retired Giants running back and the new Eagles running back will only get more intense given how dull it has been lately. In the season finale of the previous year, the Giants defeated the Eagles to win their first victory against Philadelphia in six games.
