Dodgers ‘won’t hesitate’ to bolster their squad while Blake Snell is still unsigned.

Will the Dodgers make even more moves before the 2024 season?.

Could the Los Angeles Dodgers make even more after a very successful offseason? Okay, perhaps. According to Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation, Andrew Friedman was asked if the Los Angeles Rams would consider adding any more players to the roster, and he definitely left the door open.

Friedman stated, “We can never say we’re done because it’s in our DNA.” Though we’ll keep talking, we have a lot of positive feelings about this squad. The depth behind it, not just the twenty-six guys. Having said that, we’ll keep looking into options and won’t think twice about improving.

It should go without saying, but with Jordan Montgomery and Blake Snell still available in MLB free agency, that is a very interesting target. Dylan Cease was just traded by the Chicago White Sox to the San Diego Padres; the Dodgers might wish to respond to that move.

However, it is said that the Houston Astros are taking Snell seriously. The National League Cy Young winner is still available for the Dodgers to sign, according to Harold Reynolds of MLB Network.

“You’re after my bedhead. Dodgers, said Reynolds. Following the Padres’ Dylan Cease trade, Yoshinobu Yamamoto had some minor setbacks this spring. Clayton Kershaw hasn’t returned yet. Walker Buehler hasn’t returned yet. I’m not sure.

The Dodgers roster for 2024

Another pitcher is not needed by the Dodgers. Having said that, they are obviously all in for the 2024 campaign, so it would not be surprising if they went after Snell or Montgomery.

It is still improbable that LA will sign one of the pitchers, but it is never safe to rule out the Dodgers. Los Angeles has been eager to assemble a true super team in order to win the World Series in 2024.

It’s been an intriguing free agency for Snell. Since teams have been reluctant to sign him to a long-term contract, Snell appears to be looking for a short-term agreement with opt-out clauses. Maybe a three-year contract will do the trick.

Right now, it seems like the Astros are the favourite. Teams to keep an eye on in the interim are the Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Angels.

Do you believe Blake Snell should be pursued by the Dodgers as well?
