Mr. Worldwide: The distinct family blend of Khan-Pereira…

Titans try-scorer Alofiana Khan-Pereira is eager for every challenge ahead of him and wants to seize every chance to improve as he begins his second season with the team.

After crossing for 20 tries in his rookie season, Khan-Pereira broke the club record for most tries scored. To top off his incredible debut year, he was given an Australian Prime Minister’s XIII jersey. He is aware that this year will bring even more pressure to perform well.

But that’s just something that makes him even more motivated.

“I just love soaking it all in, so having pressure to perform is kind of like my A game,” Khan-Pereira remarked.

“I enjoy the challenging times.

“People talk about second year syndrome; this is my second year.

“I’ve heard about that a lot, and I’ve made an effort to be as selfless and within my own lane as possible.

“I’ve been honing my one percenters off the ball; my abilities off the ball and related areas.

“Those are a lot of things that I’ve been working on and I have even worked on the things that are that are easy to me; I still want to work more.

“There is always room for improvement, with defence and communication, and especially the little things where I stay up in the line in case they offload.

“(I have to be ready to) stay up and help my boys as much as I can.”
