When and who else will play for the UNC Tar Heels in……

Few Tar Heel supporters worldwide will soon forget the calamitous 2022–2023 season, in which Hubert Davis’s squad started the season ranked #1 in the preseason before collapsing and missing the NCAA Tournament.

Nevertheless, this year has been the exact opposite; after finishing the regular season as the top seed and barely receiving a preseason ranking, UNC advanced to the ACC Tournament as the top seed.

UNC’s first-round matchup of the tournament was against the Florida State Seminoles on Thursday afternoon in Washington, DC, thanks to their double bye in the first two rounds as the top-seeded team in the ACC Tournament.

The Moles put forth a strong early effort, but they were unable to compete with a motivated North Carolina squad. Harrison Ingram, Elliot Caderas, Cormac Ryan, and RJ Davis all scored at least 14 points apiece, and the bench performed admirably in numerous ways. With a commanding victory of 25 points, many are speculating as to whether UNC will receive a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament.

However, they still have to find out from the ACC Tournament. In addition, Tar Heels supporters are curious about what will happen next in an attempt to win this tournament and complete the conference double. Everything you require to know is available to you.

Not that the Tar Heels need it, but UNC will take on the rival NC State Wolfpack in the ACC Tournament final with a conference title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

Following victories over Florida State and Pitt, which was a much closer game, North Carolina will now play the Wolfpack again. After surprising victories over Duke and Virginia in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively, to advance to the ACC title game, NC State is attempting to salvage its season.
