Five-round 2024 NFL mock draft: Vikings hold off until No. 23 overall; Broncos move up for quarterback in Round 1.

The 2024 NFL Draft will take place in Detroit on April 25–27 at the conclusion of this month, marking the completion of draft season.

This version goes one stanza further than my previous mock, which covered the first four rounds of the draft. Although they don’t receive as much attention as players chosen on Thursday and Friday night, a number of 2023 fifth-round selections, such as Los Angeles Rams record-setting receiver Puka Nacua, New Orleans safety Jordan Howden, and Green Bay receiver Dontayvion Wicks, made significant contributions as rookies.

Many other fifth-round decisions have had a significant impact on Sundays; mid-Saturday picks George Kittle, Matt Judon, Aaron Jones, Tyreek Hill, and Stefon Diggs are just a few names that stand out.

Six trades total—five in the first round and one at the top of the second—are included in the mock. Now let’s get started.

There are no surprises here. With time, Williams might rank among the top five quarterbacks thanks to his playmaking skills off the platform, high-arcing long balls, and pocket movement.

Daniels had clearly been honing his pocket-movement techniques on his pro day. If he can add better footwork to his whip-like arm and elusive running abilities, he’ll be extremely productive in Kliff Kingsbury’s attack.

Since the beginning of the decade, Josh Allen has helped New England win 21 of 26 games versus AFC East opponents. versus division opponents, he has thrown for nearly 7,000 yards and 57 touchdowns in addition to 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. Should Maye’s performance remind Jerod Mayo and associates of the powerful, well-built Allen, it might be difficult for the Pats to pass him up.
