FRISCO: The Raiders of Las Vegas are unable to win big. In the red zone, the Dallas Cowboys are unable to score. It seems like a trade for Davante Adams would be ideal for NFL Heaven.

Adams is clearly unhappy with the way the Raiders are playing, as they seem unable to strike a winning combination. The All-Pro receiver is clearly becoming impatient as he starts his second season in Vegas.

“I don’t have time to sit around,” Adams remarked after the Raiders’ Sunday night 23–18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which dropped the team to 1-2.

The Cowboys, meantime, are 2-1 and appear to be moving in the right path overall. However, an offensive that was once top-ranked in the league for red-zone trips and success (rated No. 1 in 2022) is now ranked No. 27 for turning trips into touchdowns.

One good way in Dallas? “Permit me to touch the rock,” exclaimed Cowboys star Cee Dee Lamb, who hasn’t played much in the red zone yet.

Perhaps that’s where this should finish. Lamb, who is 24 years old, is expected to earn more than $20 million APY in a new contract soon. That makes more sense during a salary cap period than adding Adams, a 30-year-old who currently makes (on paper) $28.

However, media sources are mentioning the Cowboys as a team that ought to pursue Adams in a trade. Our opinion? The Vegas issue is visible. Given that Las Vegas finished just 6-11 in the previous season and that the Raiders appear prepared to follow suit, Adams may try to pressure the Raiders to transfer him to a contender by the NFL trade deadline of October 31. And perhaps Vegas, realizing it has to be rebuilt, will.
