HENDERSON, Nevada: DT John Jenkins, an unrestricted free agent, has joined the Las Vegas Raiders, the team announced on Friday.

After playing for the Miami Dolphins the last two seasons, Jenkins, who is entering his eleventh season in the NFL, has joined the Raiders. In the 2013 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected Jenkins in the third round (82nd overall). Over the course of his 116 career games, including 30 starts, Jenkins has represented the Saints (2013–16), Seattle Seahawks (2016), Chicago Bears (2017, 2020), and New York Giants (2018). He has amassed 212 tackles (112 solo), 2.5 sacks, four passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. In addition, he has eight tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery in five postseason games.

Its purpose is to raise awareness of mental health issues and provide financial support for the Resiliency & Justice Center of Legal Aid of Southern Nevada, which offers assistance and resources to victims of violent crime and trauma.

Present by Intermountain Health, the March 30th Wynn Las Vegas gala was a major turning point in the Raiders’ continued mission to improve lives beyond the football field, especially when it comes to mental health issues in the state of Nevada.

“We are incredibly proud to support our community partners in this important cause,” the Raiders Foundation’s executive director, Kari Uyehara, said. “The kind donations made at tonight’s gala will allow

s to broaden our outreach and offer vital assistance to Nevadans impacted by mental health issues.”

The dinner was sponsored by more than two hundred members of the Las Vegas Raiders organization, including head coach Antonio Pierce, board member Larry Dalsin, owner Mark Davis, president Sandra Douglass Morgan, and many others. More than a thousand powerful people, civic leaders, and ardent supporters gathered at the gala for an inspiring and impactful evening. A lineup of Grammy Award-winning performers, including Anderson, David Foster, Babyface, and Andre Day, performed live for the (as DJ Pee. Wee), with Loren Allred, Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, and Pia Toscano making cameo appearances.
