just now, leeds united boss confirm another key player……

Jesse Marsch, the former manager of RB Leipzig, has been named head coach of Leeds United, taking Marcelo Bielsa’s position.
After Leeds lost 4-0 to Tottenham on Sunday, leaving them two points above the Premier League relegation zone, Bielsa was fired.
Marsch, who signed a contract that runs until 2025, will lead the team on Saturday’s trip to Leicester, provided he gets a work permit.

Leeds United News and Results

Victor Orta, the director of football of Leeds, stated on the team website, “We are excited for Jesse to lead us into this new chapter and are delighted to welcome him to the club.”
“We recognized Jesse from his time at Red Bull Salzburg a number of years ago, and we think his football philosophy and style fit in perfectly with the team and the players.”We are eager to see what the future brings because we have a long-term plan and are confident he can lead Leeds United to greater heights.
Marsch, a former USA international, has coached RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, Montreal Impact, and New York Red Bulls.

He won the 2015 MLS Coach of the Year award and guided the Red Bulls to the MLS Supporters’ Shield.
He won the Austrian Cup and the Austrian Bundesliga at Salzburg in back-to-back seasons, but his tenure in Leipzig was cut short after just five months in December.
Marsch had previously worked in Leipzig for Manchester United under Ralf Rangnick, who was the temporary manager.
“We are really delighted to have quickly secured the services of our first-choice head coach,” Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear continued.

“Although Jesse has an obvious short-term goal, we think he has the bravery and drive to build on the solid foundation we have laid over the last four years and improve the club’s performance in the long run.”He’s proven in our numerous meetings that he’s a fantastic fit for Leeds unified’s footballing culture, having seen great success with both Red Bull Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls. “At this difficult time, it’s critical that the club stays united from top to bottom.” We have no doubt that the incredible fan base that has supported Andrea will come together in support of Jesse and make sure the team wins again soon and in style.
