According to the Associated Press, a mountain goat that was discovered stranded beneath a Kansas City bridge required rescue after it was thought to have been taken from its owners.

According to the account, the animal was seen hopping on one of the bridge’s support pillars on Monday, shortly after the eclipse.

The goat was neatly wrapped in a rope, but the story claims that after that, the goat slipped and grew frightened, hanging from its neck.

According to the report, the goat safely descended around 15 feet onto padding that had been placed to cushion its fall while firefighters worked to tie the rope.

According to Tori Fugate of the KC Pet Project, a nonprofit organization that manages animal control and runs shelters in the city, “it’s the story that captured the hearts of Kansas City.” “Excuse me, a solar eclipse. Goat watch was in effect for us.
