Dallas cowboys manager officially announce his contract extension but………..

Lamb saw as the Philadelphia Eagles gave $75 million to DeVonta Smith for a three-year contract deal. A.J. Brown is the Eagles’ top wideout option, with Smith coming in second. The best offensive weapon on the Cowboys, Lamb, is expecting to earn far more than the $25 million that Smith receives from the Eagles annually.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Clarence Hill Jr. reports that Lamb did not take part in the Cowboys’ offseason program session on Monday. According to Hill, Lamb has no justification for appearing without a new contract:

“Why would he,” said Hill, citing an insider with knowledge of the negotiations—or lack thereof—on a contract extension.

It is optional to work out on Monday. It is not required of Lamb to be with the team at this time. For Dallas, the required part of OTAs doesn’t start until June 4.

The Cowboys website states that although the team is aware that Lamb might hold out to pressure the front office into a deal, the standout wide receiver plans to play for Dallas this season:

What he said next leaves no room for interpretation and should bring relief to anybody outside the building wondering if he’ll play in one of the most important Cowboys seasons in recent memory, even though it’s uncertain if he’ll ultimately hold out to speed up that conclusion.

He circled back to his declaration, saying, “Winning—I’m looking forward to winning and being out there with my guys, and making another run at this thing.” “.. Indeed, I will be in Dallas.

Up until June, Lamb and the Cowboys are having a great time.
