ORLANDO PIRATES STRIKER HAVE A INJURY THE MANAGER SAID AS….
Pablo Franco of AmaZulu laments the bad officiating during the Nedbank Cup loss to the Orlando Pirates.
Pablo Franco, the head coach of AmaZulu, was furious with the officiating after Orlando Pirates knocked his team from the Nedbank Cup over the weekend.
On Saturday, Franco’s side got out to the fastest start and took the lead at the halfway point. But after winning the match 4-2, Pirates advanced to the semi-finals as the final siren sounded.
The Spaniard was not happy with the outcome, believing the referees had manipulated the score. After a questionable penalty was given, Pirates leveled the score at the half.
“After the quarterfinal match ended, I’m furious that this incredible match between these two teams was decided the way it was,” a furious Franco remarked.
It’s unfortunate that instead of discussing football, we’re debating why specific events occurred for one team and not the other. The scandal on Saturday was excessive, and it’s not the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth of the season, according to Franco.
“I believe that we are completely ignored and that no action is taken to address the issues that arise in these types of games, which are not decided by the 22 participants.”
Franco was nevertheless pleased with the way his team performed against a strong Pirates club, even after the loss.
