Max Muncy reveals shocking Dodgers lose to the Mets as one of………..

The New York Mets defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 on Saturday, their sixth loss in as many games.

“It’s one of those things where you have to weather the storm, grind through it, and know that in the end we’re going to be just fine,” Muncy said following the Dodgers’ defeat.

The Dodgers suffered their eighth straight loss as a result of their at-bat woes. When there were runners in scoring position, they went 2 for 12 and stranded 13. For the first time since June, they have lost three straight series, and they haven’t done so at home since August 2018.

When Muncy knocked home Shohei Ohtani with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, the Dodgers had tied the game 2-2.

However, Starling Marte’s 432-foot home run, which landed on a screen that extended from the batter’s eye over the center field fence, gave the Mets a 5-2 lead. This was made possible by the Mets taking advantage of errors made by two Dodgers relievers.

Freddie Freeman’s two-run single in the sixth inning brought the Dodgers within one run, but they blew two more significant scoring opportunities. Alonso gloved the ball close to the outfield grass, raced in, and dove to tag first base for

Walker Buehler, the pitcher, has to get back from his injury as quickly as possible, according to Dodgers supporters. But Los Angeles is not rushing. Prior to Buehler’s comeback, they want to make sure he’s fully prepared in terms of his performance and injuries.

The Dodgers star did walk four hitters in his most recent rehab start, despite the fact that it appears he is no longer having physical issues. Before moving him up to the MLB rotation, Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts and the team want to see improvements in his command.

Since 2022, Buehler has not made a major league pitching appearance. In his career, he has already need two Tommy John surgery as he fights back.

There is a lot of potential in the Dodgers’ rotation. In 2024, Tyler Glasnow and Yoshinobu Yamamoto both expect to have a big impact. Although neither pitcher has yet to live up to the team’s expectations, they both possess the talent to be among the best in the game.

Bobby Miller, who showed promise as a celebrity in 2023, is presently listed as injured. The injury list also includes Dustin May, Emmet Sheehan, Tony Gonsolin, and Clayton Kershaw.
