PSV Eindhoven and Crystal Palace will ultimately compete in the Premier League International Cup.

Similar to the previous year, PSV has performed admirably in the competition. They defeated Leeds United 7-0 in one of their four group stage matches, and they overcame a 2-1 deficit to defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the quarterfinals.

In the semi-final, the Dutch team experienced a same outcome, although trailing 2-0 at the break.
