This draft proceeded more or less as most had anticipated. In the first round, the Cowboys gained depth to their offensive line, strengthened their front seven, and maybe acquired a Tyron Smith replacement. The Cowboys didn’t get much in the way of returns right away from this selection, but they did roll some pretty good dice on future stars. This draft is crucial for the Cowboys to win since the team is in limbo as Jerry Jones determines his future course of action with his team.

Beebe gave Kansas State everything he had. He alternated between guard and tackle, occasionally within the same play. Although he lacks perfect balance, he possesses the physicality to reach the second level and is usually a strong passer with good vision. It’s wonderful to discover Beebe with starter potential in the third round.

Although Guyton has a ton of potential as an offensive lineman, his current skill set is somewhat lacking. Although he may not have as high of a floor as some other offensive linemen available, the Cowboys had to use this selection on a tackle. In 2024, it might not look so good. In this league, Guyton has particular potential. All he will require is a somewhat longer leash.

Despite the general lack of quality in this linebacker class, the Seahawks selected a player who is far from ready to play in the NFL in the draft. Although Mike Macdonald, the head coach, may be the magician who can turn Knight into a starting linebacker, it’s likely that he will end up on special teams.
