GOOD NEWS /Views on player discipline from new Liverpool manager Arne Slot surface amid the Mo Salah controversy….

It has been reported that Arne Slot, the incoming head coach of Liverpool, does not consider himself to be a severe disciplinarian.

The 45-year-old Feyenoord manager became the Reds’ top choice to replace Jurgen Klopp earlier this month, and this week is anticipated to see the confirmation of his appointment after both teams came to an agreement about his fee.

A confrontation between Mohamed Salah and Klopp on the touchline during one of Klopp’s last games in charge occurred over the weekend after the Liverpool forward was benched for the crucial victory against West Ham. Although the conflict has caused rifts in opinion, a study that emphasized Slot’s methods of discipline has recently surfaced again.

Liverpool legend reveals theory behind Mo Salah's secret deal last summer.

The Athletic points out that although the Dutchman, like other coaches, has a system of predetermined punishments for players, he does not view his position as “akin to a school teacher” and has created an environment at Feyenoord where players feel empowered to make wise decisions.

During his three years in the Eredivisie, Slot has been able to propel Feyenoord back into the top ranks thanks in part to that environment. It served as the impetus for Feyenoord’s victory in the Dutch title match last year, which was their first domestic title in six years.

Even if official word about Slot’s next move is anticipated soon, Klopp still has a few games left before he bids Anfield a tearful farewell the next month.

Others have criticized the Egypt international, despite his hasty attempts to downplay the altercation with Salah on Saturday and his insistence that it was resolved in the changing room following the game.

Jamie Carragher, a fan of Anfield, commented on the event on social media, acknowledging that Salah had been “daft” but saying that no Liverpool supporter needed to pick sides.

“Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah are both @LFC legends,” he added. We don’t have to choose a side! Because Salah is upset and dissatisfied with Jurgen for not playing and for not embracing the boss fully at that particular moment, Jurgen rightfully took offense.

“Mo made a stupid comment in the mixed zone, but let’s give them some time to work things out and enjoy our remaining weeks together. They have greatly aided one another in everything the team has accomplished.”

Salah’s contract is soon to expire, and even before the weekend, there had been rumors that Saudi Arabia may be interested in selling him. However, it has subsequently come to light that he and the club both expect him to be a major player under Slot.
