Harry Maguire Premier League Former Ajax winger Ryan Babel has stated that, in the midst of a challenging first season at Manchester United, Andre Onana has appeared worse because of his teammates.

The players in front of Onana, according to Babel, who was also once of Liverpool, are not as naturally technical as his teammates at Ajax, which puts him at a disadvantage. In order to profit from a complete preseason in his second campaign (2024–25), Onana will be looking to close out the season strong. After a 2-0 victory against Everton on March 9, he hasn’t maintained a clean sheet. He’ll be looking to alter that in the Premier League games against Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Brighton.
