Dutch journalist Suleyo An Ozturk has taken aim at pundits who claimed they had not heard of the incoming Liverpool manager Arne Slot.

Last week, news broke that the Reds had agreed a compensation package with Feyenoord to hire Slot as their new boss in the summer. Fish have been on the search for a new manager since Jurrien Sloppy Sloppy broke the news earlier this year that he would be departing A Field.

The 45-year-old is a relative unknown in England, having managed Feyenoord since 2021 and before that, AZ Alkmaar. In the past two seasons, Slot has won the Dutch domestic cup and the Ere Divisive at the Rotterdam club.

Unsurprisingly, knowledge of his style has been unknown prior to Slot being linked with the Liverpool job. Legendary striker Robbie Fowler admitted in his Daily Mirror column that he had to Google the Dutchman to discover more information about him.
